What to do with Dismantled Brownstone Steps

My new brownstone has no front stoop.  Sadly, someone decided to dismantle it long ago. No stoop for me!  Anyway, I found the steps from the stoop in my back yard after buying the place and have no idea what to do with them at this point.  They’re heavy, half buried, and I can’t vouch for if any of them are cracked or damaged.  I’m not in a position to restore the stoop.   A masonry contractor told me that they’re worth thousands of dollars, but I’m not sure to who.  I’d be happy just to get them out of my yard, unless there’s a market for them.  Any advice would be welcome.  Thanks!

Sorry for not responding sooner.  I’m not living at the house yet and have a tenant on the ground floor, so it’s not easy to get access to the back yard, but will have access as of May 1\.  I’d say there are probably at least 8 to 10 steps.  I’ll try to measure them and post the details here.
