Sealing bluestone patio? To keep stone a darker color- any ideas?

Someone was telling me about a product or process to “seal” bluestone sections. He said it would keep the stone looking like the color it gets when wet. Anyone know anything about this? He didn’t know of the specific product used. I would be doing it purely for aesthetic purposes- I just like the darker color of the stone patio much more when it is wet than dry.
