Any multifamily use water submeters?

I’m wondering if any mutifamily property owners installed submeters for water usage in their buildings?  Not necessarily for billing but informational purposes (as of now). I see a lot of companies offer services in NYC that will install water submeters and charge a monthly fee for readings but I’m more interested in RF meters that I can read, save readings, and create usage report. Any info is appreciated.

Guardian Water & Power installs and monitors radio frequency (RF) equipped submetering systems that provide owners with real-time meter readings to check for leaks and be alerted for high usage. Guardian can also bill residents for their water usage and collect payment on behalf of the ownership group or simply transmit consumption data. Please check out our website www.guardianwp.com/brooklyn for more information. Guardian Water & Power is located in Lower Manhattan and provides its services for property owners in all five boroughs.

Yup, I know of the tools on the DEP site but I’ve seen individual  meters that allow for usage per unit.  This would also allow for pin pointing of leaks  and excessive usage.

From the NYC DEP page you can login to your account and get meter readings that show usage reports, daily, weekly, monthly, quartely, etc… It shows down to the hour I believe. You can setup alerts if you use more water than “normal” to detect leaks and has other handy features I haven’t looked into. If you mean for individual units, then not sure about that, this works per meter
