parlor door knobs - where to buy?

The doorknobs on our parlor doors are not the right ones. They’re actual knobs which prevent the doors from hiding in the wall openings (cheap/dumb reno job from previous owner). Is there a way to replace those knobs with the proper hardware without having to replace the pocket doors, or is it not worth the repair? The doors themselves aren’t special per se, no glass or ornate woodwork; so replacing them wouldn’t be out of the question either.

Just have to add that replacing the hardware is easy, but replacing the doors themselves is extremely difficult and can be costly — it’s difficult to find exactly the size you need.

After looking LONG and HARD for months for something antique, decent and affordable for my brownstone pocket doors I found the following site: http://www.charlestonhardwareco.com They are a random small shop in SC that has awesome reproductions.  I purchase for $25 each their Bronze Lorraine Pocket door pulls – comes with key hole or without.  Also got the Double Pocket door locks (around $200 for set).  Everything matched the style of the brownstone so I was extremely happy.
