Cut Closet Door to Size

My wife and I are getting our nursery together for our first baby and we need to have the bottom of the closet door cut down so it has clearance to open over the rug. Does anyone know where we can get this done? Much appreciated!!

Yes it cheaper to do it yourself, But i do understand not everyone is willing to use a saws,drills etc. if you wish to have someone address this matter for you. i can recommend one of my guys. coresolutionsnyc@gmail.com

I’ll second what Arkady said. Note how much needs to be taken off, take the door down. Lay it on two chairs. Draw a line with a straightedge and just cut off what’s necessary.

Second Arkady. Measure the clearance you need from rug to bottom of door, pop the door off the hinges, place a strip of painters tape along where the cut will be made (this will minimize splintering), mark your cutting line over the tape and cut! You can also use a jig saw.

It would be cheaper to invest in a circular saw & DIY – it really isn’t difficult.
