Noise Mitigation Plan Violation

The contractor working on my stoop received a ticket for not having a noise mitigation plan and has chosen to ignore it. Does anyone know if I have any liability, or is it something that can come back to haunt me during due diligence if I try to refinance or sell at some point in the future? He is due his final payment, but I don’t want to give it until he resolves it if it has the potential to cause me problems down the road.

It has the contractor’s name and my address. I had been getting notices and giving them to the contractor, and he claimed to have given the ticket to his lawyer take care of it. I have not been getting any more notices, so I looked it up on the OATH website. It now shows the my address as inspection location and his as the respondent address.

is the ticket written to the contractor or to you? if it is your name and address on it you have to assume it is your liability. if no, sounds like it is their problem..
