How do I track DOB application? Is bis-web property page current?
Plans were filed (I naively believe) on 12/21\. In the weeks since, our expeditor has either a) skipped town; b) been consumed by a personal crisis; or c) been abducted by aliens. Time will tell. I’d like to at least be able to confirm on my own THAT the application was filed and where it’s at. I’ve checked BIS property overview page, and there’s no sign of action, but I have no idea how current that is or if that’s the correct page to check. Any ideas? I’ve tried phoning DOB cust svce, but haven’t yet gotten through.

Filings show up very quickly in on NYCDOB BIS. At the very least, it would show up as pre-filed if anything was done at all. At this point, I would go with Option C unless your expediter is for Mars – which is sometimes the case. Time for a new expediter.
