Hi, I need a quote to break up and cart away this old timber garbage container.

Its about 8ft x 2ft x 2ft.

We have a new one coming next week and although I could probably break it up to put it out with the trash might be easier to get a quote from someone on Brownstoner.

Probably only take 20 mins to break up, (10 if you have the right tools) so its a pita small job but if you are in the brooklyn heights area…….

I’m thinking $50 if i demo and you just cart away or $100 if you demo AND cart away

Licensed demo/debris haulers have minimum fees.  So you are really looking at around $250 minimum.  If you call 311 they will tell you how much you can bundle up, in what sizes and when – so you can put it out with regular garbage.

people in NY are out of whack with what things should cost.
