Window and door trim and baseboard replacement

We live in a prewar coop and the window trim is falling apart and the baseboards are rotting and chipping.  We are looking for some where to replace all of the windows  (5  each) molding and door trim (4 doors and a set of french doors) and the baseboards with a similar style.  We need to replace three single panel doors as well.  Below is picture of one of the windows and the baseboards that we would love to find something similar to this and a contractor who can do the work. Any ideas or reccomendations would be great!

Why is the window trim falling apart and the baseboards rotting?  That is not normal.  Find the cause of the deterioration before you pay to replace it.  If what you’re seeing is multiple bad paint jobs then having the trim stripped (to repaint it) will likely get you down to wood in good condition and a great paint job.  Stripping to repaint requires less work than stripping to finish so will not cost as much.

I hoghly recommend Anthony Ortega (551-655-0415) of AO Construction. Anthony has done A LOT of work for me in my brownstone … from redoing door frames that were damaged in a flood, to desiging and fabricating bicycle racks and installing a garden sprinkler system.
