Polished Cement Floor, recomendations?

I’m investigating pouring a cement slab in my basement and would like to have it finished with a polished surface. I don’t plan to install a wood floor or any other floor over it. Does anyone know of a company or a person who can do this? I can handle the slab, just need an expert to polish it. Thanks for any suggestions.

Polished concrete for your basement floor is an excellent choice. My company does nothing but polished concrete. We do diamond polishing with progressively finer and finer grits that close up the concrete and produce the most durable and easy to maintain floor finish that you can have. Even if your basement floods due to hurricanes or back-ups, a polished concrete floor will survive better than anything else. Search this forum for feedback from some of my happy clients. we did exactly this in our place. we used jimmy buscarello. i dont have his number or anything but i know a search will easily bring it up. good luck!
