my Brownstone renovation walkthrough

I am very excited – we are about 70% finished with the renovation.
That´s why I want to give the chance to walk through the construction site with me, show you the details and share what I learned throughout the process.

This near gut reno is a SRO to 3 family conversion of a 5 story italianate Brownstone.
The goal of the renovation was to archieve a low energy house that is ready for the next 100 years while preserving original features.

some features:
– insulation, lots of it
– extensive floor/ceiling noise transmission treatment
– Mitsubishi heat pump heating/cooling
– Zehnder energy recovery ventillation
– exterior cellar drainage
– sump pump 
– heatpump water heater (soon to come)
– tiple pane tilt&turn windows (not installed yet)
…….
it´s pre plumbing inspection and all walls are open before before they get closed next week.

The private tour is going to happen this Sunday, may 19th at 11am
