Finished renovation, need construction inspection, what is fastest way to get going on C of O?
If you filed an Alt 2, you are not required to get a c of o. If your architect filed an alt 1, and you did not change the use or egress then you got “screwed”.

Enter Your Question Just finished gut reno of Brownstone on Sixth Ave. It is my job at this point to persue getting construction inspection (other two are being managed) and then apply for temp or reg C of O. The property had no prior C of O, still a 2 family but we filed plans so need to get C of O. What is the proper plan of attack?

I am not sure if I understand, but you should have filed the plans before you started the renovation. The plans should contain the planned C of O.
