Contractor recommendation needed

Hi all, I am looking for a recommendation for a contractor for a kitchen renovation in a loft apartment. My husband is a fashion designer and VERY particular and we want a contractor who can understand his creative vision whilst also working to a medium sized budget. He will be designing it with another furniture designer so I want someone who can really interpret his ideas into reality and who has a great aesthetic. Does anyone know anyone? Much appreciated!

I have recommended Andrew at Ferris Construction before on Brownstoner.  He worked for me on several projects, did high quality work in the first which was a gut renovation on a Pre-War, from top to bottom including Marvin windows. I was so pleased I had him do additional work on a second apartment, and a home outside the city. I have worked as a design director in both the fashion and home furnishing business, and am very particular. I found Andrew to be very good at listening, visualizing and executing. He has done high-end work so he understands finishes, but he has done mid-range work under tight budgets also. He helped me to realize what was an ambitious project for me with much attention to detail without wasting time or money. I recommend him highly. Andrew 718-765-1715.

Give Aaron Gruenberg a call at Green Mountain Construction and Design in the Navy Yard (gmcandd.com).  He has done some great work for us and he does this kind of detail and visionary type work. He actually specializes in kitchens and baths as well as other interior work.  We recommend him.
