Attic Fan Installation
consider that air change with exhausting out and pulling the shadey side into the attic it will do the best it can with the sun swinging during the day.ceiling fans will only push the hot air down onto you, might not see it in your bill, but cooling any attic out of its heat from the sun banging the roof does make the ac run less.

We have a finished attic level that is used as an office, but it gets hot. We have 2 small windows, but was thinking of having an attic fan installed in the hopes that it would cool it down a bit (along with the rest of the house)without having to run the A/C all the time. Can anyone recommend a contractor who has experience in this? Thanks.

If the two windows are in front and back, providing cross-ventallation, why not try a simple box fan in the one on the sunny side, blowing OUT (in exhaust mode)?
