After electrician wall repair, popcorn ceilings rec

I’m planning on having an electrician rewire a 1400 sq foot single family house and anticipating some wall and ceiling damage to the plaster. It’s an old house (1915) needing many more outlets and ceiling fixtures. Also all the ceilings have really chunky popcorn that I would love to get rid of sooner than later. Two bedrooms have panelling and I would like to get them back to plaster walls- it is still a mystery what is under there. Is this a job for a “Plasterer” or someone else? Any recommendations for this kind of work? Thanks!

I would have the “popcorn” tested just to be on the safe side before the electrician starts chopping holes> asbestos?
