Low Profile air conditioners?
I have two low-profile units – one by Frigidaire, the other White Westinghouse. Neither is particularly new. They’re only 6,000 BTU each, but I’ve been very satisfied. I use one in a bedroom space 14′ x 18′ w/ 11.25′ celing and south and east exposures, and the other in a living room/kitchen 12′ x 29′ w/ 11.25′ ceiling and south and west exposures. The latest low proifle Frigidaire seems to get very good online reviews.

Anyone have any experience with good Low-profile, in-window, air conditioners of 8K BTU or more? We are in a co-op so there is no option to do in-wall, and we’ve tried indoor portable units and were not happy with them. Trying to salvage a few extra inches of view. Suggestions welcome.

The ones I use are from LG but are only 6,000 btu. They are pretty quite, which is why I use them.
