Looking for a Reliable and Good HOUSEKEEPER

Hi, Our beloved housekeeper (for over 20 years), Gracie is retiring. We hope that the Brownstoner community will help us find someone as wonderful, hardworking, trustworthy and reliable. We have a 3-story Brownstone, with one floor as a furnished Executive rental. We will also need someone for our own 2-level apartment. At the moment we are remodelling and only one level (kitchen, office, bath and dining) will need service. Nicole cleans for us in Park Slope in our 4-story brownstone and we could not be happier with her work integrity and she is a lovely person. We have hired her to do deep cleans and also weekly. I found someone through “We Can Do It”, which I tried based on reviews on Brownstoner (and a few failed, frustrating attempts to find a cleaning lady through friends). It’s a cooperative based in Sunset Park. The main office will set up the first cleaning and then you communicate directly with the cleaners after that. Three women came and did an amazing job- they are extremely thorough (take up all the rugs to vacuum underneath, clean overhead light fixtures, clean inside of kitchen and bathroom cabinets– they clean much much better than I do, even if I had unlimited time). We’ve set up bi-weekly visits now. Maria leads the team that comes to us. I highly recommend.[](http://www.wecandoit.coop/index.html)
