heatshield and flue tech

Hello iam interested to see if any one has used heatshield or fluetech. I got a quote from AA but they would have to destroy the living room with the debri from the fireplace flue it would be a complete gut. Where as the Flue tech would simply do it in 3 days and very little mess. Price is almost the same for both. Downside is heatshield is only for 20 years and does not qualify as a capital improvement. But I can have it in 3 days with little mess to my life. ( just finished a mightmare Kitchen reno>>>More on that later) So the idea of quick and clean sounds appealing. Let me know what you guys think, thanks in advance

Be carefull!!! Make sure they licensed and insured .If one guy is telling you one think and another (simply do it) There is something wrong. Are you looking to fix your Chimney For the heating system or renovate your fireplace?
