Basement waterproofing

I have water coming in to my basement during heavy rains, and want to have a contractor dig out my front yard and completely waterproof from the outside. Can anyone recommend a contractor for this type of work? Thanks!

You might want to consider a french drain. Hydrostatic pressure is relentless & waterproofing is only a partial solution. Draining the excess water away is effective. Look in the archives for both services – they’ve been discussed a lot on here.
