Prospect Mortgage
Hey Folks – Has anyone worked with Prospect Mortgage? If so, what were your experiences? We had a fallout with Bank of America and are considering other bank options for our 203K loan.

I’m not an employee of Prospect Mortgage, but I applied for their FHA 203(k) Renovation Loan. The renovation loan features a minimum down payment of 3.5% down (required). This down payment funds can be money that you have saved, or may be a gift from family members. Also, you must have a credit score of 640 or higher, and you do not need to be a first-time homebuyer to be eligible for a 203(k) Renovation Loan.

M&T Bank also does 203k loans. Barry Koven at Wells is known to do a lot in Brooklyn as well. I’ve referred a few people his way.

Don’t have experience with them. But recently refinanced with TD Bank (Michael Lanning was the banker) after a horrendous experience with Chase.
