ELECTRICAL OUTLETS SPACING
Is there a min/max distance an outlet needs to be from a door or from a partition wall dividing two rooms? Also can a cable outlet be placed on top of an electrical outlet or is there a required distance? I hear that there have to be electrical outlets every 6 feet, is that correct? Can you put two right next to each other or is there e a minimum distance?

I find the attached cheat sheet very helpful in determining outlet placements. Best, Andrés Cortés Architect www.agenciegroup.com
