Where to find a very narrow bathroom sink?
Thanks all. Will check out Park Slope Plumbing. The Elfe is great looking, but we were just told by the plumber we have to get a pedestal because of where the pipes are. Disappointing!

I’ve checked all the usual big box stores and many online retailers, but I haven’t come up with a new sink narrow enough for our bathroom. The bathroom is only 30 ” wide and our current pedestal sink is 18″ deep so it’s a tight squeeze. We’re having the room re-done and can put in another pedestal or a wall mounted sink, but I can’t find options that are less deep than the current sink and made in vitreous china or other strong materials. Any ideas? Ikea has some cool-looking options but they are ceramic and I don’t know if I trust Ikea to hold up to old brownstone plumbing.

Google “Hand Basin Sink”. Porcher Elfe and Duravit Bora are both good options. I once saw a sink that was recessed into the wall, effectively giving you an extra 3-4 inches of depth, but I’ve never been able to find anything like that.

Park slope plumbing on 5th ave and prospect ave has a bunch of catalogues you can look at. They will have a lot of options you will never find on the internet. There staff is also pretty knowledgeable.

I have been happy with my Porcher “Elfe”. It is ceramic, however, but it is used frequently in my half bath. Inexpensive as well, under $200.00.

I have an extra Porcher Elfe wall mount that I waited to long to return. Brand new in box. Email me if you are intrested in buying for a deeply discounted price, say $100. ! It is a nice look, but we needed something a bit bigger. link here: http://www.faucet.com/porcher-25011-elfe-20-wall-mounted-vitreous-china-bathroom-sink-with-single-faucet-hole-less-drain/p49373
