I had my facade restored late last year but I am worried that the brownstone looks patchy, especially the stairs.  My contractor stands by his work and has offered to re-apply the acid wash if I am truely unhappy. I’d appreciate the opinions of the community, does this look patchy, or would you expect to see darker areas like this? Thanks

It doesn’t look bad but it if bothers you then have him wash it again.  Who did the work for you?  I might use him for my brownstone

It doesn’t seem that bad at all and the contractor could have used bit darker color to make it more stand out. I had Millad (CTG Construction) did mine an year ago, he showed us 3-4 different color and we end choosing bit darker one. It look really nice and he did do acid wash.
