Need Spray Foam Insulation, any recomendations?

Hi, The addition circa 1930 to our bed stuy limestone is in need of insulation badly. We upgraded the boiler, vents, radiators etc. last year and still spent the whole winter freezing. The walls were literally 30 degrees inside the house most of the winter. Does anyone know of a reputable insulator. I have done a bit of research and am interested in getting the foam put in from the outside of the house. I had a few seemingly shady people over to put in quotes- but we were not convinced that they would do a good job.

Foam/stucco/EIFS on the exterior is the best insulation you can get. I think I paid about 2500 per floor for 4 inch foam with STO Stucco finish.

If you have a solid masonry house (you say Limestone) Or is it a frame house with a faux masonry façade? I would be very surprised that blow in insulation would be a good use of your money. If you really have had your heating system properly checked; although as you say you are still cold, most boilers would keep running to meet the thermostats demands and your bills may be high. I would check your windows. It may be a good idea to have an environmental engineer come and do an audit. Before you go spending a lot of money on blow in insulation, that from my experience, if you really do have a solid masonry building will not be money well spent.
