Landmark approval for roof repairs?

AFAIK repairs to a flat roof,  not visable from the street,  do not need LPC approval. If the roof is a visable design element it’s probably a different story.

We live in the Clinton Hill HD and our house needs some major repair work to the roof. My question is this – does anyone know if we need landmark approval for something like this? Any advice would be gratefully received…
