203K and construction projects- Meetup?

Quite a few people have contacted me about the 203K process. Seems to be a lot of us either about the start the process and deep in the process. Although, I haven’t come across anyone that has finished. Anyway, what do you think about a meetup? Where we can trade war stories and give advice etc? I know you just said no architects, but….   I’m actually just as interested in learning about the process as you are.  Our firm has been approached a few times to work on properties where the new owner has received 203k assistance, but for one reason or another the projects didn’t go through.  In our experience with these projects, it seemed that the owner was given a very specific list of items that the loan would pay for, and the amount it would pay for each item.   I would be very interested in your meetup as a way to become better informed on the 203K process so I can then pass that information on to my clients.  I promise I won’t even bring my business cards.   JIm Hill
