Plumber recommendation - Israel Rivera

I just wanted to give a recommendation for my amazing plumber, Israel Rivera. He has done so much work for me and always does an amazing job at a fair price. I met him completely by accident when there was an emergency and I just had to pick a name out of the phonebook without time for referrals. He single-handledly installed a new efficient gas boiler and removed the old one in the middle of December and got the whole house warm again; retapped many of the old radiators whose valve threads were all stripped; replaced a completely clogged 30-ft section of 1800s heating pipe; repaired much of the plumbing in one of the bathrooms and redid the floor and tile afterwards; and installed several toilets, sinks and garbage disposals. He is a great guy to talk to and I trust him completely, to the point of giving him my keys if I can’t be home or need to head off to work while he’s here. He always honest, informative and gives me a price that is more than fair. I can’t recommend him highly enough, and last time we spoke he mentioned that he is looking for new clients. He’s a family man and just a great human being. Tell him Jason from 11th street in Brooklyn sent you, I’m sure he’ll give a chuckle, as we went through a lot together with this house and he never let me down.  Israel Rivera, 347-294-5687

Nope, he is not listed there a810-bisweb.nyc.gov/bisweb/ResultsByNameServlet?licname=Israel+Rivera&licensetype=P&go1=+GO+&requestid=0 in a few years you can find clogged vents and fines for illegal boiler installation.
