Modulating Condensing Boiler

I have a Burnham Alpine 105 which was installed in my home in 2012\. I need a plumber who is capable of cleaning and servicing it, as the plumber who installed it is not. Does anyone have a referral? The plumbers I’ve contacted do not service modulating condensing boilers and Burnham doesn’t refer. Thanks.

Alpine has generic heat exchanger , same as the 80% condensing boilers installed in USA. Gianoni brand. Controller and components also similar to rest of the crowd. Check companies working on peerless,lochinvar ,baxi. They can maintain alpine as well. Most important is to open heat exchanger and inspect and clean it. Make sure they don’t scratch it, acid neutralizer must be replenished or replaced. System must be flushed. Water conditioner must be added. Electrodes inspected/changed. Combustion set up with combustion analyzer. Exhaust piping checked. Especially if PVC was used.

We service mod-cons all the time, but I have to say, that boiler is the least good of its kind. And I’m a Burnham installer. Lots of little annoying problems and the local rep and I discovered the factory’s printed manuals have some errors. Just saying.
