wooden door knobs?

If you have new doors you can drill the smaller hole and use [](http://www.handlesets.com/emtek-emdl234s-entry-latch-with-2-3-4-backset-and-square-corners-for-emtek-products/p1115689?source=gg-gba-pla_1115689____33270023389&s_kwcid=PTC!pla!!!48071874589!g!!33270023389&cagpspn=pla&gclid=CK6R7tDV7bwCFRAV7AodzncA4A “This part”). If you have old doors you might have to either fill the original hole or find some old door guts that fit. I just picked up two sets of wood knobs off the street in crown heights this month. They are usually painted over many times and may feel lights (like hollow steel). I had to let them sit in stripper overnight. You might just have to keep an eye out for discarded doors. -Matt

Anybody know where I can get these locally?  Does anyone have experience with old knobs on new locksets?
