Appraisal value of a 1/2-bath?
Don’t over-think this. The value of a 1/2-bath / toilet when you sell a park slope home is within the rounding error. You could search appraisersforum.com for opinions from RE appraisers, or post a question. But what’s the big advantage of 2 toilets in adjacent rooms anyway?

I’m contemplating removing the toilet from our combined 1/2-bath and utility room. Removing the toilet would allow easier access to the washer/dryer and give us some needed storage space. We’d leave the sink – and the full bathroom is right next door. My concern is how much we might lose in the appraised value of the apartment if we eventually sell. The toilet rough-in would still be there, and none of our renovations would prevent a new owner from moving the w/d back to its original spot and installing a new toilet. But I’m wondering what the dollar value a 2nd toilet is assigned by an appraisal firm in its calcuations. thanks!
