Viking Refrigerator Repair

We came home tonigt to a dead refrigeator.  Despite many complaints about Viking refrigerators, this is the first needed repair in almost 15 years.  No idea who to call.  The Viking website lists “mr appliance” with no address as an authorized repair shop in nyc.  Any suggestions?  We are in E Village.  Thanks

Thanks to you both. I reset the condenser, cleaned the coils and frost pan, and it has been working just fine for 36 hours. I’ll see if we can ride this one out.

Call High End Appliance 631-585-7598 I have had many problems with my refridgerator and they have been very good. Request Arthur, he is the best. Very careful and nice about not dinging up the finishes in the kitchen. Hopefully they come out to Manhattan.

Hey, I am only coming in here on this as no one else has and I know very little about appliances.  I can share this with you as I did take care of buildings and factilities which had located within them commercial kitchens:  most commercial refrigeration specialists can service all types of refrigeration, so you may wish to try a commerical restaurant refrigeration outfit.  Be aware that these types of technicians move around in fast environments and may be a little more concerned with getting the equipment running than actually taking care not to scratch the front of the equipment (any place we have had a commercial kitchen, we could have cared less if they nicked our stand alone unit so long as food did not spoil).  You may wish to try one of the restaurant refrigeration specialists.    Steve
