Refrigerator recommendation

Hello. We need to replace our refigerator as our current one is on the fritz. Has anyone purchased one over the past two years with a model they are happy with? Any recos where to purchase it beyond HD, Lowes, Best Buy, Gringers? Have a special salesman you like? We are looking for a stainless steel style possibly French door with some kind of ice maker component. (D26″/ W36″/ H70″) One issue is that one of the doorways it has to go through is narrower. (Hoping it can be brought through the narrower doorways sideways.) We’re also not looking to buy super high end. Thank you for your advice:)

We had exactly the same problem and ended up with GE Cafe counterdepth / french doors. there is not so many choices if you really need counterdepth / french doors. You might want to stop by at Lowes and check this one out. I ordered the fridge from the cheapest on the pricegrabber.com GE sells two similar models: Profile and Cafe. I like Cafe more because it has water dispencer and ice maker inside. So the doors have clean look. I guess GE compares to LG as Ford to Kia. Also GE is cheaper. I think Best Buy has LG so you can drive to the 5th Exit of Belt parkway and compare.

I also like LG appliances, I think they make a counter-depth pretty close to your measurements. I’ve had good experiences with AJ Madison. I’ve also been getting things recently from Build.com and been happy with pricing and service (no sales tax, free shipping on large orders and everything has always been in stock), but not bought any appliances.

I’ve been liking LG the past few years in the mid-range.   For that narrow doorway though, you may have to stick with a counterdepth option.  For counter depth fridges I like fisker paykel
