stripping paint from marble fireplace
best if you use a plastic scraper ( with using any chemical stripper) because a metal scraper can scratch the marble

All three marble fireplaces in our 1899 townhouse have been painted with several coats of paint. Any advice on stripping and cleaning the marble would be appreciated. Thanks!
