Reliable source to buy windows/installation?

Back when we renovated, we went a bit low-budget on some of the windows. We are now looking to replace them. We have the white anderson windows and a white Anderson patio door on the parlor level we are happy with and are looking to match the new windows to these. Any recommendations for a vendor? Windowrama on Staten Island? Windows We Are? Anyone else? We are particularly interested if you used the vendor you liked for installation and whether you were happy with the work. Many thanks.

Bay Ridge Windows have done 6 Marvin window installations for us. Really excellent work. These guys are pros. They work quickly but thoroughly and are good at protecting your interior (with a brick mold to brick mold installation the amount of 19th century soot released when the old window frames were removed was horrifying — but well contained!). Very expensive — but I don’t know what proportion was installation and what was the windows themselves (yes, I know I should have asked). At the end of the day, it felt more prudent to pay for good installation that compromise those expensive windows with a sloppy job. By contrast, our contractor put Pellas into old window frames in another room and they’ve been nothing but trouble — really leaky.

Heights historic installed our windows but they only deal with Kolbe. Heard good things about bayridge windows who rep Marvin Windows.

Brooklyn Windows also doesn’t install. So I will add to my query: 1\. Any recs for installers? 2\. Several vendors have recs for installers. Should I trust those recs?

Many thanks. Yes the yelp reviews on WWA are mixed re installation. Windowrama doesn’t install at present, though they have in the past. I will try Brooklyn Windows, pending yelp reviews.

I used Windows We Are many years ago & thought they were a bit sloppy, Slopey, but that may have changed. Brooklyn Windows has good prices on Andersen – not sure if they install since I was doing replacement parts & did it myself. Last time I had entire windows replaced I went through Home Depot for Andersen & they did a good job, were on time, etc. If you can hold off, they often have specials on price – check their website.
