Process of putting in ductless mini split AC into townhouse
One thing is you cannot have the compressors near the lot lines in the backyard.

Renovating a townhouse and want to put ductless mini splits in. Some air conductors are ceiling mounted while others are wall mounted. My concerns are: Do you need a permit to install this units if they total 20,000BTU per floor? Do you need a permit if the compressors are in the backyard? Roof? Do this units have to be included in the alteration plans? Recommended brands? Pitfalls? Thank you for any ideas or comments.
