poured cement or epoxy flooring experience or contractor

I have just been through this If the concrete is thicker than 1″ you’ll likely need additional structural support. However, there are thin concrete and epoxy floors. I recommend selecting the appropriate Ardex product. Ardex is the industry leader in thin cementitious floors. Contact: Allison Birkmeyer, CSI Architectural Specialist – NE ARDEX Engineered Cement Also check out the epoxies from Durameen

I am thinking of replacing wooden parlor floor with a poured cement or epoxy (house is in flood zone). Anyone do a similar job or know of a company that does it. It obviously has to have a finished smooth look. What kind of support will such a project require with the increased weight?
