New flight path over Bed Stuy?

Has anyone noticed the sudden increase of low flying airplanes over eastern Bed Stuy? Seems to have started last night and has been pretty constant today. Is there a new flight path in effect? Anyone know what is going on?

David Dinkins re-routed planes over Fort Greene because they disturbed him at the US Open. THey have remained flying over this part of Brooklyn ever since. What sport does DiBlasio enjoy?

Our windows have been open for a couple weeks now and yesterday just seemed out of control. I thought several of the planes sounded like they were going to crash. Maybe it was some acoustical trick caused by the humidity or clouds. Today it’s back to normal.

YES! And they seem to be flying low. I thought maybe it was something to do with the weather. Hopefully it’s not permanent.
