General Contractor Needed For Ceiling Repair

Can someone recommend a general contractor for the repair of a hole that I now have in the ceiling of my apartment. The hole is approximately 2′ X 3′. I contacted two contractors from Yelp but I unfortunately have not heard back from them. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks

For a small job like this you need someone local. Ask at your local hardware store for a recommendation, or if you have a decent apartment building in your area, ask the super.

Thanks for the advice. Do you have any recommendations on where to find someone reputable? I really don’t trust Yelp and I’m not too sure about Home Advisor.

I think this isn’t a job for a general contractor. You need a plasterer, sheetrock guy, or handyman.
