Dividing bedroom in a coop

What would be the protocol to get board approval for the division of a bedroom into 2 bedrooms in a coop in Brooklyn. I know there are size and window requirements, and I read that neither bedroom should be a pass through for the other, meaning a hallway would be needed. Does anyone have the specifications needed, and if those are met, is there any reason for a board to reject the renovation application? Thanks in advance
