Best value tile store in BK (or boroughs)?

In your opinion, what is the tile store in BK or NYC largely that offers the best value? We are going to be tiling 3.5 bathrooms using mostly subway and hexagon/simple tiles, so a good price is key. We are planning on using mosaic tiles for anything more decorative (backsplash, accent walls, etc) and already have stores lined up for those, but we’re interested in finding a retailer with a decent showroom and good pricing for the less complicated stuff. Because we have so much sqft, I’m leaning towards a brick and mortar store over an online retailer as I’m sure mistakes will be made and we’ll probably need to re-order or get advice from the staff. Who is your fave?

Another vote for classic tile. They have a huge variety, fair pricing, and are a pleasure to work with.

Classic Tile for sure. We recently redid a bathroom and kitchen and I must have gone to 10-12 tile stores. Once I selected the tiles I wanted, I priced them at Classic and they had the best price.

We used Marino on Grand Street for the majority of our home and were very happy with the prices. We also used SMC Stone on Morgan.

Classic Tile in Bay Ridge is great, have used them for a few projects. They are also great with returns and have most things in stock (large warehouse in SI).

Swan Tile They have a showroom on the LES and somewhere way north in Brooklyn or even into Queens but the showroom on the LES is good.

Try Weisman’s on McDonald Ave. They’re a discount building supply store and sometimes have a decent selection of tile stock. Also, if you’re not married to the idea of staying in Brooklyn, you can check out some Habitat ReStores in Westchester and NJ.
