Yes you can. It could be part of the permanent record of the business, but so would be the comments of anybody who knows the business and has had a good experience. I hope you try out your comments on independent observers – not just other people like you, before you publish. You can also write about what happened, without naming the business, and see what people say here. This forum includes buyers and sellers of services and products.

I’m having a really bad experience with a vendor who posts quite often on this forum. I was wondering – what is the protocol? I know that people often give positive reviews. But what about negatives? Can I write a really bad review about someone here?

Hey… We have free speech in this country don’t we. Be sure not to write in a libelous manner. Better yet, you should try everything in your power to resolve it in private. Once it is written here, you can’t take it back and can have a negative impact on peoples livelihoods. Also, why not explain your situation in a bit more detail for us. What type of bad experience have you had, and what have you and the vendor done to resolve it?
