Hi everyone, We just got a townhouse in Brooklyn and need to find a good home insurance company (we are planning on renting out the ground floor, if that makes any difference.) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I’m pretty sure that The Hartford provides home insurance ( http://aarp.thehartford.com/Property-Insurance/Home-Insurance/ ) in Brooklyn, and if you purchase their policy through AARP, you get really reasonable rates and neat discounts.
