Dear all

I wanted to share a positive experience we had with Windows Are We. They replaced all of our windows–landmarked in the front, not in the back using sash kits. They look really good, they did it when they said they would, and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, I would recommend these guys. All in all, a good experience.

  1. I have had a great experience with WWA replacing all windows in our 16-unit coop. And I have recommended them since and have not had any bad feedback.

  2. CGmodern, I’m sorry to hear that. I have recommended WWA before, I used them on 3 occasions and they were very professional and I had good results.

  3. thanks pacj!

cgmodern, so now you have me wondering what happened and how bad can it get?

  4. @dancingirl…if your window frames are reasonably intact, you can simply fit them with a sort of adapter for new sashes. This costs around $900 for a landmark type window vs. something like 12-1500 if they have to replace the frame and go all the way down to the brick.

  5. wow…i wish we had a good experience with them…they were a freaking disaster in ever part of our project (except the measuring).

  6. Thanks for sharing. I am thinking of doing the windows this year, the only reno we skipped when we did everything else. Dreading it.

Not sure what a sash kit is? Haven’t researched it yet.
