How to Clean Outside of Apt Windows?
After 4 years, I have decided it is time to attempt to clean the outside of our apt windows. Is there any product there that will help? My arms aren’t long enough to reach the entire area and we live on the 5th floor.

Thanks for the recommendations. I had no idea that the bottom windows easily open from the top and am embarrassed that I have been living with dirty windows for no reason. The upper windows are somehow screwed shut so I can’t open them though so will need to use some contraption to clean them from the bottom window.
Look at the top of the window on either side for a latch you can pull in that will allow the window to swing into the room. I’ve never had an NYC apartment that didn’t have windows that tilt in for cleaning. I’ve also discovered that a lot of people have no idea this exists.
If the windows are newer, maybe you can open them *in* to clean the outside.
If it’s just about reaching while hanging out the window, maybe a swiffer would work?
