Hi,

I’ve switched to a high-efficiency boiler and have my old one for sale. It is less than three years old, and has been terrific. We switched because we renovated the basement and wanted to have a hi-efficiency boiler/hot water heater we could vent out the back without a flue (went with a Buderus, so far, so good).

This one is a Burnham Series Two, and I used it for gas heat, water return. It more than adequately heated a two zone 2600 foot house. If interested but unsure it would work for you, you could talk to my plumber. I’m asking $1,200 (plumber says it is worth $2500). But of course best offer. Not sure if we could transfer the warranty, but we could try.

Pick up would be in Park Slope. If you are interested, please respond to this post with contact or email: petergreen510@yahoo.com

It’s model 208

Capacity: 191 MBH or LBS/HR
HTG Cap: 191000 BTU/HR

You can find all the specs for Series 2, Model 208, here: http://www.usboiler.burnham.com/pdf/Series%202%20specs.pdf

  1. I would donate it to charity for the tax deduction. I’m sure there’s one that would take it.

  2. Just an FYI: Warranties are not transferrable. Especially since the boiler will be moved from its original installation.
I sell boilers for a living.
The Series 2 208NCL new would cost about $2,500.00 to a contractor.

  3. hate to be negative, but almost nobody buys used boilers…try giving it away
