Can anyone recommend a decently priced House Cleaning service? I am in BH, and am struggling to find a legal service for less the 150$. This is for a one bedroom apartment in an older building.

Thanks.

  1. try soulmaids.com…just used them this past weekend and they did a phenomenal/thorough job for $100. I have a 2 bdrm 1 bath apt.

  2. $150 for a 1 br is expensive, unless you are going the completely legit, insured legal worker route.

$75-100 could be had under the table.

  3. You can do much better than $150 for a one bedroom. I paid less than that for a 2BR/2BA. Please try Sylwia at highendmaids@yahoo.com. She is legal, extremely well-priced, trustworthy and very thorough. She’s also very responsive over email, which I think is great. I highly highly recommend her.

  4. We Can Do It is the best! They are super reliable and affordable. We’ve used them a half-dozen times and have been bowled over with the results each time. If you want a specific recommendation, Adelaida has always cleaned our place and has been wonderful.

  5. I third Si Se Puede! I’ve been using them for almost three years, and I love the woman who cleans my large 1-bed ($90). I recommend without hesitation.

  6. I second Si Se Puede/We Can Do It. It’s a women’s cooperative so my understanding is that the woman who cleans your place gets all (possibly minus a few bucks for the scheduler) of the money you pay. They require you to furnish the cleaning supplies which I like. I already have a vacuum and cleaning products that I like used in my home. I’ve only used them once so far (but based on rec’s from several people) and had a very good experience. If you don’t have cleaning supplies, look elsewhere and I would expect you’ll pay more.

  7. I think $150 is good because the first cleaning is always around that price, thereafter it usually goes down to under $100. If you are looking for much less, hand out outside Home Depot or Family Dollar and try your luck.
