Sound Proofing
Hi, I’m looking to get some soundproofing done on my ceiling to reduce the footfall and airborne noises coming from my upstairs neighbors. Can anyone recommend a contractor specializing in this? I’ve already reached out to Eurobuild NYC and Brooklyn Insulation and soundproofing. Thanks

I used Brooklyn insulation and soundproofing and would definitely recommend them. Tell Devin that Pete from 246 5th gave him the rec.
Can’t comment on their soundproofing but I can tell you that we used Brooklyn Insulation and Soundproofing for insulation work and were satisfied with the results.
I’m in the midst of a commercial project where we have a number of sound attenuation issues (a bar under apartments). I just reached out to one of the DEP qualified noise consultants.
I don’t know this outfit, but I expect I will be speaking with them tomorrow.

You don’t want to put a lot of money into a treatment that won’t solve the issue, so it’s probably worth talking to an expert.
There are a number of other noise consultants, but they seem to be handling major acoustical projects.

i read your comments and i think sound proofing is a good idea for interior design.at present time there are sound is a growthing pollution so through this we can remove this..
