What to do about a homeless person now that weather is getting colder. There is this little guy living mostly under the BQE overpass. ANother neighbor used to let him occasional sleep on deck before he got stranger – stopped taking meds maybe. I think he may work parttime at McDonalds but is bit dillusional claiming working for some big finance company and says is a lawyer.
Usually harmless but appears to like to peak into people’s windows.
Walks around with an old dog.
What can be done to help?

  1. I’ve seen him in Cobble Hill Park with his dog. Be careful — I’m told he bites (the little homeless guy, not the dog). In warmer weather, I used to see him climbing the fence by the new waterpark at Pier 6 to shower in the sprinklers (with the dog as a lookout I think).

  2. I think he hangs out with that tall mean woman. You know the one, stringy long hair, possibly homeless, maybe unemployed, extremely belligerent.

  3. Not much can be done until real winter time.
Any chance this is the guy that shows up at open houses and pretends to make offers? Is sad but I think he is just eccentric.
I think he is just a longtime fixture in the neighborhood because people seem to look out for him and humor him.
    Hangs out at Montero’s.
