Have an older boiler (prob. early 90s) and I am wondering if there are any safety features I can add to it, such as a carbon monoxide detector/emergency shut off mechanism? Thanks.

Flue spill switch (carbon monoxide), low water cut off, flame rollout fuse, pressure relief valve discharge pipe, domestic water backflow preventer, manual reset high limit aquastat, low gas pressure shut off switch, remote power switch (top of cellar stairs)….there’s all kinds of stuff now that is required and just wasn’t around way back when.
