Need Old Parquet Foor
Does anyone know where we can buy or salvage between 10-100 pieces of parquet floor pieces that are less than quarter inch thick? Old or new is fine.

You can buy 5/16″ strip flooring ( I know you said 1/4″; but it was probably originally 5/16″) at Eastside Floor Supply on 124th st in Man. It would have to be cut to length which any flooring person can do on site.
Any shop can make this stuff up as well, but that is not cost effective.

You can also try http://www.woodnshop.com – they sell sheets of thinly sliced wood – mahagony, maple, cherry, quarter sawn red and white oak, etc. that you can then have cut to the shapes you need. This is real wood – not veneer. This is what I plan to do to repair my floors.
Good luck.
Jon: Did you actually sand that parquet, just buff it with steel wool or chemically strip it???
This is what we did:
